I’m not quite sure what the heck this is or what it’s used for but I do know it’s old and made of wood and I can paint it so that’s exactly what I intend to do.
If anyone has any suggestions, I’m totally open to them.
This is Easter weekend so I hope you have a great Easter or at least an great extra day off of work! I know I will ![]()
See ya,
Rita

i am pretty certain it is a vintage humidor which was used to hold cigars, etc. i think.
That looks kinda creepy. Im scarred. Lol
I'm wondering if it was end table w/ a humidor for cigars? See this one - http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/charming-antique-humidor-cabinet-77491387
It looks like a great table for the kids to play battleship! lol Actually, my first thought was the cigar thingy too.
Looks like the perfect hiding spot for Kunu! Actually I thought it looked like one of those antique telephone tables, but after reading your other comments I googled "humidor table" and it definitely has to be that.
What a cool piece!
It make a great little bar. Glasses on the sides, bottles on the inside, ice bucket and tray on the top.
It would make an awesome battleship table! Or a nice end table with a cupboard in the middle and bookshelves on 2 sides, no matter what it was originally.
Looking forward t seeing what you do with it.
Kathy
I predict that you'll make it look awesome! Maybe the fact that it was thrown away means somebody gave up their cigar habit. :0)
